My PC used to asked me (sometimes still does) if it should remember a password for an internet site. I'm sure you've been asked this too. Often when I was ask - as it would ask repeatedly- I saidyes for many of my websites. After a few weeks of usage like this and a few sites gone by. A prompt informed me a NEW WinXP FEATURE that would allow me to encrypt or make a single password for when I wanted, those already STORED passwords, to be applied/used/automatically-entered was now available. So I decided I would try the feature and create the "master" password, if you want to call it that.Now the password will not work. When I enter it in the field it just re-prompts the same window, empty, as if I had done nothing.Sometimes pressing the cancel button will do the same thing.Suffice it to say this "new feature", I think such! Now it NEVER works as it should. (it used to happen seldom) I want to disable this security function but CANNOT find and option that will let me do so anywhere in the controls/security-settings.IF ANYONE HAS HAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS MASTER- PASSWORD PROGRAM/APPLICATIONPLEASE HAND ME SOME ADVISE.1 person needs an answerI do too
